The card works the same in Sweden as it does in the rest of the world.*
When you pay or withdraw money using your Bankkort Mastercard, the money is withdrawn from your bank account. How you pay with the card depends on the equipment used by the store. For example, payment may take place by scanning the card’s chip or magnetic strip. In most cases, the purchase is then approved using a personal identification number (PIN) or written signature or in another manner.
You choose the PIN for your card yourself. This is done in our app or internet bank when the card is ordered. You can then change your PIN at any Bankomat ATM.
You can follow your card order via the “Cards tab or via “Other services” – “My cases” in the internet bank or the app. How to follow your card order
With a Bankkort Mastercard, you can now approve small purchases without entering your PIN. This is done by tapping your card on the checkout terminal. How to tap your card
